Nada Surf at Bimbos

The Nada Surf show was a whole lot of fun. The sound was not so good. They had to do some thing for Live 105 and didn’t get a chance to do a sound check so it was rough. The drummers vocals were ridiculously loud and I kept waiting for the sound man to get back from his cigarette break and fix it, but it never happened. Aside from that, the show was great. They were all chatty and in great moods. They played lots and lots from Proximity Effect as well as Let Go and The Weight is a Gift. Most importantly, I got to see them perform Meow Meow Lullaby. It was so god damned cute I coulda peed myself. So I was happy as a lamb in a field of daisies. They are nice boys, I wish they were my friends. As if I didn’t listen to enough Nada Surf already, I’ve declared today Nada Surf day. Non-stop Nada surf from sun up to sun down. Yow! Zing! I’m drinking a Monster energy drink at the moment which makes me talk like an old Batman tv show. Zonk!
